History

Allcast Precast has been designing, manufacturing and delivering precast concrete water tanks for over 50 years. The company first started under the name Monocast in 1960. Over the years the name changed to Allcast Construction Company and then gradually into the name it has today, Allcast Precast. In the early days the tanks were formed with mesh and hand rendered which was a labour intensive and time consuming process. Delivery of tanks to site was by using a tilt tray truck and sliding the tanks into position via an excavated ramp for access.

Fifty years on Allcast Precast concrete water tanks are manufactured under strict conditions using 40MPA concrete and graduated steel tank mesh. All of Allcast Precast concrete water tanks are made in steel moulds and the concrete is poured under constant vibration resulting in a dense smooth finish. Our delivery methods now include two trucks with thirty tonne metre cranes which are fully remote controlled allowing our concrete tanks to be placed into excavated areas more easily and efficiently. The factory also houses two overhead gantry cranes, mobilized equipment, large office buildings and plenty of storage area.

Allcast Precast has been a family owned and locally managed business and it wasn’t until 2007 when the new owners, Dave and Jarrod Bissett were the new family to take over. By keeping the business operating under a family banner the integrity, quality and service are at the forefront of Allcast Precast.

Allcast Precast is committed to providing quality concrete tanks and professional service to all of our clients. We achieve this by continually developing and expanding our product range as well as ongoing training and accreditation. Our tanks are tested regularly by SAI Global. Our team prides itself on building, developing and maintaining these relationships which in turn offers confidence and satisfaction to our clients and equally to us.

Community

Allcast Precast is actively involved in supporting the local community and events. Each year we assist the Salvation Army, Queensland Police Youth Welfare Association as well as local Nambour Junior Golf. Allcast Precast also supports a range of smaller organisations and believes that giving to our community will benefit the growth and development needed for a safe and prosperous town.
